This is a picture of one of my best friends Kimberly T. I took it over the summer in downtown Birmingham. This picture was a candid shot and it wasn't until I got home that I realized how much I loved this picture. I think it captures her personality perfectly. I changed the image to black and white and played with the contrast but overall I didn't really do any major editing to this photo.

Stef! I love all of your pictures! I like how her eye is the main focus and draws your attention to the photo. The balance of black and white is perfect. The photograph has a hopeful feeling to it. The black and white makes the picture seem gloomy but since she's smiling it gives off that hopeful feeling.
