"Merry Go Round"

Megan R.
This was taken a few weeks ago at Alabama Adventure during a weekday when they were closed.  I edited this photo by cropping it so the focus was on one horse of the merry go round. I also made it black and white so that the horse stood out against the background and his accessories.

"Hibiscus"

Molly R.
I took this picture on my back porch where we have a hibiscus plant. I took this picture a coupe weeks ago right before i left for school.  To edit I used the enhance tool. I also cropped and edited the exposure and the shadows.

"Old Oak Bridge"

Natalie S.
This picture was taken around the lake outside he Hoover Rec.It was taken about late afternoon.  I used increased the saturation and levels on photoshop. Using this gave me a very clear image. Trees around it shaded the bridge to make the bridge darker than the background surrounding it.

"Loneliness and Companionship"

Joanna W.

These two pictures were taken in Acworth Georgia of a park bench by the train station. For the night image I edited it by increasing the curves and the levels to bring out the highlights and increase the definition. I edited the day photo by cropping it. The night photo's light source was a nearby street lamp. The day image's light source was just the sunlight.

"Rays"

Britney B.
This picture was taken in Brock's Gap, I was driving and stopped once I saw how great you could see the rays peaking through the sun. I added curves to make the rays stand out more and the sky more blue and highlighted.

"Big House"

Taylor C.
I took this at the Preserve, Yesterday. I adjusted the saturation, contrast, shadows, and color.

"Forests and Fences"

Zach K.
This was taken in my back yard around 5. I put in it B&W then increased saturation, shadows, and definition. It was still light so I just used the flash.

"Pink Lady"

Mary H.
I took this picture about three weeks ago at my friends house in Meridian. I did color selection with the greens and added more cyan. I also did the same thing with the reds and added more magenta. I added a little bit more of lightness and saturation. I put lighter input in the curves. My light source was the sun.

I took this photo at night of and angle statue in my front yard. To edit the photo i just brightened  it and and cropped in closer to the angel. For my light sours i used a flash light and i tried to angle the light so it looked like the angle had a halo.

"Hello Fall"

Danielle C.
This was taken outside my house in my backyard on the first day of fall. I used the sun as my light source, I did not use a flash.

"Life"

Stefanie S.
This picture was taken outside of my grandparents house almost a month ago while me and the subject, Jordan, were watching the sun begin to set. To edit this picture, I changed it to black and white and played around with the contrast, levels and brightness. The only light source i used was the natural light at outside.

"The Power of Heaven"

Valerie T.
This was taken at Lake Mitchell while i was on the boat enjoying the heat from the sun. I edited it by enhancing the image, putting the contrast at its maximum level and the saturation at its highest to bring out the blue of the sky. The only light source i had was the Sun, i turned the flash off my camera. I think the image could be better if the sun was peaking out of the clouds a little more because i feel like it would add more to the mood.

"Fire"

Robert S.
I took this picture in front of my house on the steps at 9 p.m. I edited the contrast, exposure, I changed the curve and the level, and the last thing i did was saturate the picture more. The light source was the flame.

"Starry Night"

Tyler D.
I took this picture on September 26th out on my back porch. I edited the picture by enhancing, boosting the color, changing the saturation, and changing the temperature. The light source I used was my back porch light and a street light which is reflected on to the trees in the background.
