"The Church"

Jonathan S.
This photo was taken three weeks ago at Hunter Street Baptist Church. This is my favorite photo because it symbolizes my faith. It is also my favorite because it has a good contrast of colors. For this photo I increased the definition, sharpness and saturation.

"A Day in the Garden"

Kathryn D.
I took this picture In my Grandmothers Garden, Daisies were her favorite flower. I love this picture because It looks very unique and classic. All I really did to this photo was Make it straight, it was a little slanted before and increased the saturation of the photo.

"Faded Glory"

Zach K.

Taken in my backyard around 2:30 on August 22. Its my favorite because like the definition of the shadows on the flag and how everything else in the image is colorless besides the flag.

Edits: I faded the color 3 times, and also edge blurred 3 times, because even though I wanted the colors of the flag to be faded I still wanted what color it did have to be in focus. Then I removed all contrast and most of the saturation, maxed the definition and sharpness, raised the highlights, and removed the shadows.

"Nothing But Blue Skies"

Valerie T.

I took this photo in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This was at the Retreat, where my brother lives. I used color boost, and the enhancer to edit this photo, and i also played with the contrast a little.

"Music"

Sarah T.

This photograph was taken in my house in my living room. I took it for the About Me project because I love to play the piano. It is my favorite because I like how the lines on the piano are vertical and horizontal. I also like how you can see the closest keys, but the further ones are blurred.  To edit the photo I made the image black and white, sharpened it, and raised the contrast.

"Peace"

Hannah M.

This photo is taken on the Bluff by Tip Top Grill. It is my favorite because the sky was beautiful that night. This represents that no matter how bad life can get you can always look to the sky and see peace. In iPhoto I changed the color and changed it to sepia. I also enhanced the contrast and made the sun rays show up more by doing that.

"Crystal Ball"

Anna B.
This photograph was taken in Patton Creek and it is my favorite because of the was the ball reflects the scenery. I also love the shadows above it. I cropped and increased the definition on this photo.

"Up"

Abby P.

This photo was taken in Moss Rock Preserve in August. It's my favorite photo because I like the angles it has and that it shows the rocks from a different perspective than a normal shot would. To edit this image I straightened and sharpened it in iPhoto.

"A Day in the Woods"

Patrick B.

This was taken in the woods and it is my favorite because of the contrast.

"Steel Strings"

Danielle C.

I took this photo while I was playing my guitar.  Its my favorite because I love to express myself through music.  In iPhoto, I used the black and white effect and then adjusted the saturation, contrast, shadows, etc.

"Magic Lake"

Cody F.
It was taken on CR 13.  I was driving and looked over and saw this lake and stopped to take a picture.  I edited alot in this photo.  I clicked enhance and that was it.  The only other thing I did was put the black border around it.

"Peace"

Haley B.
This photo was taken at my lake house on smith lake of my friend savannah , this is my favorite picture because i like the way she is shadowed, i also like this picture because of the way its darker then just the regular black and white photos usually are.  i made the picture black and white and adjusted the picture darker.

"Blue Sky Summer"

Natalie S.
I took this picture this past summer in the morning. It's my favorite because I love the contrast of shadows and the blue sky. The weakness in this photo is that the sky is a little more blurry than I would like it to be. I also used the saturation adjustment to help make the color stand out more.

"Sunset on Orange Beach"

Michael C.
This was taken at Orange Beach and it is my favorite because of the contrast of the sun hitting the sand and the deep shadows created by the lines in the sand. The only edit I used was a little color manipulation.
