Hands

Haley B.
This photo was taken in the classroom for the portrait project. It's my favorite because it looks unique.

The only edits I did on this photo was put it in black and white and boosted the color.

Close Up

Courtney F.
This picture was taken at my house.I really like it because its sort-of different. I like how it is in focus, and its blurry. I cropped this picture, and changed the saturation a little.

Door

Christopher J.
This is an old photo i took through the glass on my front door. I like how it is half blurry and half clear. I edited this photo by increasing the brightness.

Nature

Damaris G.
This is a picture of a pinecone. I took this outside my house on one the snow days. It's my favorite because of the angle i took it from and how clear it is. I enhanced the picture and made it black and white then made the outsides blurred.

Caught Up in an Ice Storm

Brittany M.
This photo was taken on my deck during the ice storm that we had in January. I really like the detail of the ice and the leaf that is frozen in the ice. I also like the clarity of the image too.  I edited this photo by increasing the definition and sharpness a little bit and I increased the contrast just a little too.

Chicago

Ashleigh W.
This picture was taken in Chicago last summer. It's one of my favorites because it's very peaceful and it turned out this way with hardly any editing.  I enhanced the photo in iPhoto and boosted the color once.

Trees

John David
This was edited using iPhoto.

Toms

Stephanie S.
First I took a picture of my Toms and then I took a separate picture of my peace sign and I merged the two pictures together to create this image. To edit this image I played around with the coloring and adjusted the brightness and contrast.

Black and Silver

Shahbaaz N.
The liquified background made this picture look interesting. The background was actually a apartment and the darkest portion in the upper right corner is the sky. I had made the car look as if it doesn't know where to go. I use the quick selection tool around the car. Then I used the gradient map for the background and make it look like silver and black. Then I used the liquify tool and made it look amazing.

Winter

Hannah M.
This picture was taken by the lake at the end of my street. I like this picture because it was snowing outside, and the water on the trees were frozen. I also like this picture because it shows how peaceful outside was even though it was below freezing. I edited this picture by changing the contrast and brightness a little. I didn't do much but I still like this picture a lot.

Ice

Anna B.
This photo was taken on my deck and it is my favorite because of the closeness and clarity of it. I thought this photo looks best in its original form so i did no editing.

Collage

Anna W.
I didn't edit any of these pictures other than putting them in a collage, I thought they stood out on their own:)

Trampoline Tessellation

Sarah T.
This photo was taken in my backyard of a trampoline spring for the close up project. I like it because I think the cylinder shape looks cool when tessellated.  I edited the photo by changing the light and dark tones and changing the color balance.

At Gun Point

Valerie T.
I titled it At Gun Point because he has his gunpoint at you in most of the image but really it all comes down to the image in the middle of the gun being turned around at him

Windcatcher Tessellation

Noel P.
I took this photo of a dream cacher and then to edit it i tessellated it in photo shop. one of the strengths is that i copied the photo a lot but one weakness is that i didn't line them all up perfectly. if i names this i would name this kaleidoscope vision into your dreams. overall i really injured this project and i believe i will use this image quite often.

Mossy Rocks

Brianna B.
This picture was taken at my mom's work while we were working on the close up project. I was just playing around with my camera, seeing how close I could get to an object and still get a good picture out of it. I like how the front rock and the front of the holder are the only things in focus. All I did to edit it was I brightened the color a tad bit.

Puppy Love

Katt P.
This is a picture of my two dogs Teddy and Chester asleep on my bed. They are always hugged up when they are lying down together, so i decided this would be a perfect photo for this time of year. I only changed the darkness levels when i edited this photo.

A World in Blue

Britney B.
This was taken from the airplane window on my way to New York. I love that you can see the clouds and the tiny roads in the distance. I added curves to this to get the blues to pop and be more hilighted in areas.

Utopia

Abby P.
These photos were taken in the preserve and at an Atlanta Braves game.  To edit these photos I enhanced them using iPhoto and made them into a collage using Photoshop.

Tessellation

Mary H.

This photo is picture of my friends eye. I took this when we were just messing around with the camera. This is my favorite picture because I think its unique and kind of crazy looking. The only editing I did on this picture was boosting the color, and enhancing the lightness.

Burning Passion

Connor B.
This photo was taken of my friends eye, it was for the extreme close up project. the reason this is my favorite is because its so mysterious. to edit this photo i just cut out the shape of a eye laid it on a flame layer then recut it and put that in for the whites of the eyes. i also burned all the layers together so it blends a little better. i liquified it so that it would blur and then added a candle in the pupil.
