Maggie

Stefanie S.
This photo was taken in Old Town Helena for the portrait project. I really like how simple this picture is. To edit this picture I changed the coloring and played around with the brightness and contrast.

Colors of Fall

Michael C.

I took this photo at my lake house down near Alexander City. I did not edit this photo at all. It is completely natural.

Kelsey

Kathryn D.
I Took this Picture in Pelham, Alabama On the railroad track, Its my favorite because it really shows her true  smile and I can only get it when she was about to fall of the track.

A Closer Look

Sarah T.
This photo was taken of my friend, Katie J. It's my favorite because I like the up-close detail portraits. I think you can almost tell more about a person my getting up close rather than a full-body shot. I really like the flower in her braid; it's simple beauty and it reminds me of summer.  To edit the picture, I increased the contrast and saturation. I changed the levels and and the curves of lightness and darkness. I made the picture a little lighter.

Eyeball

Connor B.
This photo was taken outside. it is actually a small end of a wind chime that i focused in on and then edited with photoshop. i used 3 different photos to edit this photo as well as adjusting the levels. i also added a pupil to make the chime look like an eye.

Beauty in Flower

Damaris G.
This picture was taken at my house of some fresh flowers. The original color of flower is yellow but i made it sepia while editing it. i think the strength of this picture is how detailed it is and the different shades it has.

Take the Wheel

Danielle C.
This photo was taken on a playground close to my house. This is my favorite photo because I love how the image is in black and white and the wheels are in their original color.  To edit my photo I changed the image to black and white, then used the history brush to restore the color of the wheels.

Foosball

Connor H.
This photo was taken at Hunter Street Baptist Church Baptist Church. This picture is my favorite because the reflection of the players off of the table mirrors the setup.  I altered a few levels in the picture and gave the picture an antique look.

Iron Window

Britney B.
This is a picture of my front door taken for the reflection project. The glass has an iron design, which I think looks really cool. I love the colors of the reflection- it's dark at the bottom and works it way up to lighter colors. All I did to edit was play with curves.

"Queen" Anna

Mary H.
This photo was taken underneath an interstate bridge by Lake Cyrus. This is my favorite because she is underneath the crown perfectly, and the coloring makes the purple tights stand out. The one thing I don't like about the picture is the color her skin turned when i edited the picture. For this photo I did a purple tint overlay and i straightened the photo just a little bit.

Fall

Mallory A.
The photo was taken in my backyard during the fall.  I really like this photo because I like how sharp it is and how bright the colors are. To edit this photo i changed the saturation and sharpened it and brightened all the colors.

Bliss

Molly R.
I took this picture outside of my house one day when I was babysitting. I love this picture because of how up close it is. To enhance this picture I adjusted the saturation in iPhoto.

Fleur de Lis

Julianne F.
This photo was taken at my house. It is a paperweight on my dad's desk. It's my favorite because I love how my camera captured the detail of the object, and the way it has a melted look. I edited this photo using just iPhoto. I changed it to black and white, faded/boosted the color, increased the exposure, and blurred the edges.

Preserve Winter

Natalie S.

This photo was taken the day after Christmas while walking in the Preserve. I really liked the way the snow had fallen on the log creating somewhat of an illusion. I made this image brighter and increased the contrast. I also decreased the saturation of this image.

The Barrier

Patrick B.
The photo was taken at The Persevere at one of the roundabouts. It is my favorite because of how the pylons lead the eye in an arc direction. The edits I used were dodge on the brick walkway, and I edited out a realtor sign that was behind one of the lampposts.

Lake

Abby P.
This photo was taken in late August in the Preserve. This image is my favorite because I like the colors and the reflections on the water. To edit this image I straightened it, enhanced it, and adjusted the definition.

Record

John David
I used the black and white, solar glare, and grain effects.

Barometer

Zach K.
I took this photo in my backyard in the afternoon of a barometer. I didn't edit this photo at all.

Seamstress

Joanna W.
This picture was taken in my sewing room. It shows my mom's hands working with the fabric and the sewing machine. It is my favorite because, although it shows my mom's hands it was meant as a self portrait. I like the lighting of the image as it allows only the hands and the basic outline of the sewing machine to be visible. I edited this photo by adjusting the curves, levels, and saturation, to increase the contrast and the warm colors of the image.

Reflections

Elizabeth B.
This photo was taken for the reflection project.

Blind Spot

Robert S.
This photo was taken in front of my house using my cars blind spot mirror. It is my favorite image because I like how I was able to edit it. I think it is cool the way the only color in the image is the reflection off of the blind spot mirror. In order to enhance this image, I changed the image to black and white and then color brushed the blind spot mirror (to make it the only thing in color).

Music is Everywhere

Brittany M.
This photo was used in my About Me project. I took this in my front yard in August. I really like the colors of the CDs and how the sun reflects on it too. I also like how you can see the trees reflecting off of it. I edited this image by boosting the color and adjusting the definition and highlights a little bit.

Unashamed

Valerie T.
This photo was taken at Church of the Highlands of my friend Stephanie while she was worshipping before one of our Basement leadership meetings. This is one of my favorite photos because the ministry is something that I am really involved in. I edited this photo by messing with the boost color, and fade color, and then i played with the saturation and contrast of the image and the exposure of light.

Sing

Taylor C.
This photo was taken at WorkPlay, its of the lead singer of a band The Scene Aesthetic, and its my favorite because it captures the guy singing and playing the guitar at the same time.  I cropped and brightened the image

Pink Guitar

Megan R.
This photo was taken at my house of a cheap guitar we have. I love it because its very clear. The colors are also very bright. I used very basic edits.

The Peir

Courtney F.
This photo was taken at my great grandmothers house and it is one of my favorites because of the reflection on the water.
I changed the saturation and i cropped it.

Inspiration

Tyler D.
This photo was taken in my bedroom on my floor on the carpet.  It is my favorite because it is my favorite verse: Philippians 2:10.  The edits I used to enhance the photo were edge blur, I faded the color and also boosted it.  I also brightened the photo and took away most of the shadows.

Car

Shahbaaz N.
I have took this picture outside my apartment. I took this picture in November. I have adjusted the curve and levels of this picture. I tried to make the picture darker fro the bottom and brighter at the top. On iPhoto I have increased the sharpness of this image. This is my favorite because I like the color balance of this picture and the car looks impressive to me.

Cactus

Molly P.
This is a picture of the back of my car in the parking lot of the church I attend. This is one of my favorites because I like the detail of the image and the angle is interesting to me. I named this photo "Cactus" because that is actually hat I named my car.

Evan

Haley B.
This is my cousin Evan this photo was taken at my grandparents house in selma. I like this picture because he is looking directly at the camera. The only edits I did was crop it and boost the color.

Winter Cruise

Michael H.
This Picture was taken next to a curb in a small parking lot. The Edits i used were Gradient Mapping and Distortion using the liquifying tool.
