Welcome to the HHS Digital Photography class blog. Our lab is composed of twenty-two Apple iMacs. Production will start with students learning the basics of digital photography including: image composition, advanced camera features, and components of the iLife 09 software suite. Later in the year, the students will explore advanced image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop.

"Fire"

I took this picture in front of my house on the steps at 9 p.m. I edited the contrast, exposure, I changed the curve and the level, and the last thing i did was saturate the picture more. The light source was the flame.

This photo looks great. Using the flame as the light source really made this photo look cool. You can tell that the edit in the exposure, contrast, and the change in the curve really helped. The black back round made the flame the only thing in the image. If I could change one thing, I would make the flame more clear to see.
