Welcome to the HHS Digital Photography class blog. Our lab is composed of twenty-two Apple iMacs. Production will start with students learning the basics of digital photography including: image composition, advanced camera features, and components of the iLife 09 software suite. Later in the year, the students will explore advanced image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop.

"Hibiscus"

I took this picture on my back porch where we have a hibiscus plant. I took this picture a coupe weeks ago right before i left for school. To edit I used the enhance tool. I also cropped and edited the exposure and the shadows.

I really like your photo and how you made the main focus sharp and i think it is very appropriate for this photo. i like how your centered the flower but i wonder if it would have been more impactful if you would have shown more of the plant and used the rule of thirds to have the flower off center.over all though i really like the photo and the bright flower it really catches your eye, you did a great job!
