Welcome to the HHS Digital Photography class blog. Our lab is composed of twenty-two Apple iMacs. Production will start with students learning the basics of digital photography including: image composition, advanced camera features, and components of the iLife 09 software suite. Later in the year, the students will explore advanced image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop.

"Shine a Light"

This picture was taken on my back porch the other day. This is a picture of a one the little party lights hanging all around my porch. When I edited it I cropped it down and straightened it.

I really like this photo, it is very unique and I like the clarity of it. I'm glad it was totally dark outside with only one light on because it adds a lot to the photo. It's a very dramatic photo and I really enjoyed seeing it. I also like how both the positive and negative are clear in the photo, it works really well, and I think the title suits the photo. Gooooood job.
