"Blue Skies"

Brittany M.
This photo was taken in my front yard one afternoon after school. I edited this photo by moving the exposure and saturation levels a little and I also sharpened the image and increased the highlight.

I really like the composition and the high intensity colors of this image. I also like the way the sun behind the cloud looks. Overall this picture has great unity and balance. Nicely done.

1) I like how the main subject is the cloud and its in the center of the photo and is very focused. The lighting is very harsh because the light is coming from behind the cloud and contrasting with the white, but it makes the subject stand out clearer.

2) I love the colors of the sky that are brought out in this picture, the sunlight really enhances the blue of the sky.

3) I really like this picture, but i wish that the top of the tree wasn't in the bottom of the picture because it distracts away from the clouds.

I like how the rays poke out of the clouds, and how the main cloud is silhouetted. The blue sky being in different shades also works well for this picture.

Brittany I love the picture. I like how my eyes are directed from the clouds to the rays of light. I would really like to see this photo with more of a tree line.

This is a really great picture. How the way the clouds are shot it looks as if the clouds are emerging from the tree line. The rays from the sun coming through the cloud are also done where you could see them clearly. Overall great photo the only thing different would have been if you had took the picture with more of the cloud and the trees in view and while editing trying to maintain one color of the sky.
