Welcome to the HHS Digital Photography class blog. Our lab is composed of twenty-two Apple iMacs. Production will start with students learning the basics of digital photography including: image composition, advanced camera features, and components of the iLife 09 software suite. Later in the year, the students will explore advanced image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop.

"Sunset on Orange Beach"

This was taken at Orange Beach and it is my favorite because of the contrast of the sun hitting the sand and the deep shadows created by the lines in the sand. The only edit I used was a little color manipulation.

I really like the picture because of the contrast between the bright orange and blue colors. It gives the image a warm feeling to it. Also, I really like how the condominiums are reflected off the puddle of water.
