Welcome to the HHS Digital Photography class blog. Our lab is composed of twenty-two Apple iMacs. Production will start with students learning the basics of digital photography including: image composition, advanced camera features, and components of the iLife 09 software suite. Later in the year, the students will explore advanced image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop.

Kathryn! I love this picture! I love the color of the leaves and the light illuminates the background. I like the way the leaves are not directly in the middle of the photo but I also think that if that whole branch (3 leaves) were in the picture it would even the picture out. This picture represents fall really well and you did a really good job!(:
This is a beautiful picture! The colors are really bright and stand out against the background. I also like how clear the leaf is while the trees in the background are blurry. I also like how it has a happy mood to it. Overall its a really good picture!
I love this picture! The color of the leaves makes the picture stand out, by giving the image a joyful mood. I'd like to see a bigger depth of field for the background. But other than that, it's a really good picture!

I love this picture! I love how the leaf is in focus and the background is blurry. The colors really stand out and make the mood very cheerful. I really like how the whole branch, the 3 leaves, are not in the center and are asymmetrical. Great job :)
This picture is great. I really like the shallow depth of field and how it works to really put the focus and definition on the leaves. I like the layers to the image as there are the orange leaves in the foregrounds, the blurry orange leaves, and then the blurred trees in the background. I think this picture could be better if there were more colors in the leaves to add more contrast and interest. I would also like to see this image zoomed out a bit more. I think it would be interesting to see more of the branch in one shot.
