I love the simplicity of this picture! I really like how you made something that in reality isn't paid much attention to, and turned it into a really unique object. The contrast between the gum drop and the road is also really good. Great job!

I really like this picture. The balance between the positive and negative space is very even. I really like how you can almost tell the texture of the Gumdrop. I bet this picture would look really good in color too, but I like the black/white/gray colors.

Sarah!!! This photograph is amazing!!! I love the fact that you chose to use the black and white setting. It creates an antique but modern feeling. I also really like how all of the focus is on the gumdrop. You did a fantastic job!

This is a great picture, I like how all the focus is on the gumdrop and the surface nearest to the camera is detailed but as it gets further away it blurs out. Black and white was definitely the way to go for this one. Great job!

I really like your photo for the close up project i never would of though this would be such an interesting subject. you did a great job zooming in and keeping the image in focus. although it is off center i think if you used the rule of thirds it would have drawn are eye to the gum ball a bit more. over all you did a great job an i can wait to see more of your work this year.
