Welcome to the HHS Digital Photography class blog. Our lab is composed of twenty-two Apple iMacs. Production will start with students learning the basics of digital photography including: image composition, advanced camera features, and components of the iLife 09 software suite. Later in the year, the students will explore advanced image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop.

Fire

This image was taken of a small candle. The clarity of the wick stands out against the fire making it very interesting. I edited this photo by cropping it and using very natural edits.

I really like this photo! The focus on the wick draws a lot of detail to the image, and I like how the image is centered. I think it is really cool how the flame is also blurry, and the background. It has a mysterious feel to it. Great Job!
I really Love this Photo I think its awesome how focused it is on the wick of the candle, you can actually see it burning it really is a great picture!
This picture is really interesting. I like the warm colors used. They really emphasize the idea of the candle. I also like the way the wick is centered in the picture but the flame is off to the side. I cant tell if the second flame behind the one in focus is another wick or just a reflection but I really like the effect it has with all of the other lights in the background. Great job on this photo.
I really like this picture! It makes me think, a lot. At first glance, I actually thought it was a man walking in a fire.. haha! But after reading that it's a candle, it makes more sense now :) it is a peaceful picture, and i really like how the wick is in focus but the fire isn't. Great Job!
