Welcome to the HHS Digital Photography class blog. Our lab is composed of twenty-two Apple iMacs. Production will start with students learning the basics of digital photography including: image composition, advanced camera features, and components of the iLife 09 software suite. Later in the year, the students will explore advanced image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop.

omg, this is a really good picture, its cool and the color splash is awesome
i like the desaturation you did on every thing else but the wing to help them stand out and how you have each butterfly a different color. even with out all the neat color decisions it is a good picture with good balance and a great angle.
I love this picture! The desaturation of the butterflies creates a really interesting mood. I like that only part of the wing has been restored with color. How close you got to the subject creates a good balance for the image. Great job!!
i really like this photo. the colors are so bright on the wings and the background is still really dark. very cool. also i like that there is 3 butterflies. overall cool photo
I love how visible the butterflies are. Its hard for me to capture a clean butterfly and I love the way you did it. I also love how the color of the butterflies stand out agains the gray background. I love how you can see every aspect of the butterflies. From the legs to the eyes to the wings, its all visible, which is great.
Love this! I like how close up the butterflies are. I also like how even though there are 3, the focus is on the center butterfly. I like how the background doesn't have any color because it draws attention to the wing detail!
This is such a pretty picture! It's hard to get a butterfly to stay there when you're that close let alone 3. I really like how the photo is desaturated and how the real color is in the pattern of the butterflies. The background of rocks is also a very nice touch because of the clash of textures. Great picture!! :)
